ive just finished mixing an ep that i produced for an artist who goes by the name wes sp8. there are five songs on the ep, all recorded, mixed, and produced by me. the project was recorded and mixed in its entirety at my studio, which im for the time being referring to as farmhouse recording company. the ep should be going out to mastering soon, and hopefully falling on your ears very soon.

another bit of significant news is about my studio. i have finally upgraded my pro tools rig to a mac pro running pro tools 7.3.1. this was a much needed and put off necessity. even bigger news that im very excited about is that i have plans to build a whole new studio from the ground up. currently im working out of a room that i converted to a studio. its basically a big tracking room with my equipment set up in one corner. im very excited about the idea having a facility with a tracking room, iso booths, and a control room that are all separate. in the next 4 to 6 weeks im going to be drawing up plans and designs, and talking with contractors. right now im planning on building a studio that will be around 1000sq ft. the room im in now, which is also about 1000 sq ft, will become the guest quarters for artists. im planning on breaking ground on this project sometime in the fall.

lastly, im gearing up to begin recording another project starting the 23rd. should be a fun rock project, although its going to be moving quite fast. there is basically two weeks to track the better part of a record. it definitely wont be easy, but there will be a lot of excitement flying around. im certainly excited. stay dialed in. ill give you details…
